Is CSR in danger in the face of the Omnibus project?

The European Commission has just published the "Omnibus" bill, calling into question certain standards of the Green Deal. This announcement has plunged companies and CSR stakeholders into uncertainty... Caroline Neyron, CEO of Mouvement Impact France, an employers' organization for companies committed to the ecological transition, states that "we are heading into a year of uncertainty" before adding that "we are in a moment of weakening, which risks slowing down the dynamics of business transformation." This regulatory uncertainty has, of course, resonated with business leaders who, worried, are slowing down or pausing CSR projects and losing their commitment. Many fear that this uncertainty will set in and that the efforts already undertaken will be in vain. Faced with the risk of giving up, CSR professionals are working to prove the importance and relevance of their sector of activity.

Indeed, CSR is not limited to simple compliance with European standards, but constitutes a real lever of performance, innovation, and attractiveness for companies. Julien Hostache, President and co-founder of Enerfip, is bouncing back on this idea by affirming that it is maintaining the course of CSR and remaining mobilized on this subject, which must become a standard.

Enerfip publishes its 2nd impact report

The Enerfip Group also aims to have a social, societal, and economic impact… In short, to bring together as many people as possible around good practices that meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Through its second impact report, the Enerfip Group takes stock of the implementation of its CSR strategy by identifying best practices and emblematic measures already implemented.

Our commitments with the Komeet platform

In 2024, Enerfip is taking action with the Hybrid week. What's that? It's an initiative via the Komeet platform (formerly Friday) that allows everyone to voluntarily engage in solidarity missions to benefit the environment and people. How does it work in practice? Each employee has 12 half-days per year during their working hours to participate in solidarity missions in the field or in awareness-raising activities.

💚 Some examples of actions that marked the start of the year:

• Together, let's act for the health of tomorrow with the Guilhem Fund - Montpellier University Hospital: some mobilized their brains during a brainstorming workshop led by Laura Kinselle, to rethink the upcoming charity dinner together. Others rolled up their sleeves to assemble furniture and clean the hospital's spaces.
• Food collection - Restos du Heart: In Paris, Montpellier, and Bordeaux, some of the group's employees mobilized for a national food collection for the Restos du Cœur, gathering food and basic necessities.

Enerfip opens the doors of its offices as part of a partnership with Les Bureaux du Cœur

Les Bureaux du Cœur is an association whose main objective is to combat the problem of poor housing by allowing anyone in a precarious situation to access decent housing regardless of their income or social situation.

Enerfip has committed to this association to make its premises available to provide emergency accommodation for periods varying from 3 to 6 months for people in a situation of precariousness.

In November 2024, we welcomed the first person who was able to enjoy our premises by spending their nights in a heated and safe place.
