What is the Financial Intelligence and Action Unit (TRACFIN)?

The Intelligence Processing and Action against Clandestine Financial Circuits (TRACFIN) is a French intelligence service specializing in the fight against money laundering, terrorist financing, and economic fraud. It is part of the Ministry of the Economy, Finance, and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty and reports to the Directorate General of the Treasury.
