Did you know that Enerfip and UTMB Iberia are joining forces for the first time for the HOKA Val d’Aran by UTMB race?
Did you know that Enerfip and UTMB Iberia are partnering for the first time for the race HOKA Val d’Aran by UTMB? If you missed this information, let us put this partnership into context for you!
The Ultra Trail du Mont-Blanc, better known as the UTMB, is an extreme racing concept created by the UTMB World Series, which organizes around fifty such events around the world. Whether you're in New Zealand, China, Argentina, Spain, or France, a UTMB World Series adventure awaits you!
Much more than a running competition, this trail invites you to “reveal the extraordinary in you” by pushing your limits. Living such an experience leaves a lasting impression on you, because these events, in addition to taking place in exceptional locations, unite you with other runners in search of surpassing yourself.
The UTMB is therefore seen as a challenge in which sport, nature, and resilience meet at every step to push the limits of the impossible. However, it is not just an individual challenge, far from it! Carrying the values of solidarity, respect, inclusion, authenticity and humility, the races signed UTMB value being part of a community of runners even more than winning.
It is an ultra-trail located in the heart of the Pyrenees which is preparing, this year, its 5th edition (from July 3 to 7, 2025) as a European UTMB World Series Major, that is to say the European final of the circuit. Ranging from 15 km to 163 km, this ultimate adventure allows you, if you finish it, to obtain a place in the draw to participate in the UTMB World Series Finals 2026 on one of the three emblematic courses of HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc.
If you're wondering what motivated us to enter into this sustainability partnership with UTMB Iberia, it's above all a deep resonance between our respective values. Enerfip and the UTMB share a common vision: that of a united world where every daily action has a positive impact on tomorrow.
👐 Whether it's sustainable investments or running, solidarity is what drives our actions. Crowdfunding alone would be pointless, just like the HOKA Val d'Aran by UTMB race, during which athletes encourage each other to cross the finish line.
🙏 The same goes for respect. During these kinds of events, respect for others is essential, but not only that! Respect for nature is also essential! As a crowdfunding platform dedicated to the energy transition, protecting the planet is an immutable element of our approach. As an intermediary between project leaders and investors, Enerfip facilitates access to financing for green initiatives that actively contribute to the promotion of a low-carbon society.
🧡 Even though it's an extreme race, inclusion resonates like a mantra during the UTMB races, just as it does at Enerfip, which makes it a point of honor to grow by recruiting people from all walks of life. Junior or senior profiles, from here or elsewhere, in person or remotely, specialized in finance or project management... Our team is multicultural and that's what makes it strong!
✨ How can we talk about the UTMB without addressing authenticity? Seen by some as a return to basics, this race embodies a balance between personal sincerity and connection with nature. At Enerfip, this approach resonates deeply with each of us: we offer you committed projects that we believe in and that will have a positive impact tomorrow.
🤗 The final value that makes the HOKA Val d'Aran by UTMB an event we love is humility. What does that mean? When you have ambitions such as winning a UTMB race or becoming the European leader in responsible investment dedicated to financing the energy transition, it is important to remain aware of your strengths, weaknesses, limitations, and opportunities. Humility is the quality that will help you achieve your ambitions without ever underestimating your opponents or overestimating your abilities!
If you ever meet the Enerfip team, you will immediately see that sport is an integral part of the company's values. Rugby, bodybuilding, running, dancing, horseball, basketball, tennis, climbing, and even swimming are activities regularly practiced by our team. Together, within a team, or alone, everyone builds themselves around a physical activity, allowing them to develop their perseverance and resilience.
Going beyond a simple physical activity, sport at Enerfip strengthens cohesion between employees, promises self-improvement, and encourages everyone to develop their competitive spirit in order to always strive to do better. As you've probably guessed, it's omnipresent in our corporate culture and contributes to everyone's work/life balance.
You won't be surprised that we're talking to you in a little more detail about running as a sustainability partner of the UTMB Val d'Aran, right? Jogging has many benefits, which might encourage you, too, to challenge yourself during an extraordinary experience like a UTMB race. In addition to clearing your head and helping you sleep better, jogging builds muscle while strengthening your joints and bones. It's an incredible sport for preventing osteoporosis, a bone disease characterized by deterioration of bone tissue, and cardiovascular disease. In terms of your health, running also promotes better blood circulation.
So, do you have to run a lot to see all these benefits? According to scientific studies published in recent years, the ideal pace would be 3 running outings per week, lasting 45 minutes to 1 hour each. With this training frequency, you're sure to see more than positive effects on your body. If you can't maintain this frequency, it's recommended to walk 10,000 steps per day. So, are you ready to challenge yourself?
Alongside UTMB Iberia, Enerfip is committed as a sustainability partner for the HOKA Val d'Aran by UTMB race! But what does that really mean? Throughout this ultra trail, you'll find Enerfip working to raise awareness and protect the environment. As part of a continuous improvement process, we aim to support organizations in ensuring the sustainability of their actions. This is why runners, visitors, and tourists will be encouraged to adopt responsible behavior during the race, but also in their daily lives. By providing easy-to-implement daily tips to reduce your carbon footprint, explaining how your savings can be a lever to promote the energy transition, and taking concrete actions to promote change, Enerfip is serving the UTMB, but also a greener future. For us, sustainability is neither an option nor a second choice, but a priority!
We've talked about sport. Now it's time to talk about nutrition. Since one cannot exist without the other, these two pillars form the foundation of good health. Nutrition is a daily driving force. It's thanks to it that you keep up the pace and have the energy you need to face your days and your training sessions. As an athlete, imagine how strategic it becomes! Eating well means performing better, recovering better, and lasting better.
At Enerfip, we believe that health also comes from what you eat. For us, eating well isn't just about thinking about yourself, it's about thinking about tomorrow! With this conviction in mind, we challenge ourselves to combine sporting success and sustainability in your meals by offering you recipes that are as delicious as they are balanced and nutritious. Something to fuel your energy, your conscience, and your desire to build a more responsible world!
For runners and Enerfip alike, the HOKA Val d'Aran by UTMB ultra trail represents a major challenge: reconciling performance and sustainability. So, shall we meet on July 5th at the foot of the Pyrenees for the HOKA Val d'Aran by UTMB ultra trail?
