What is Enerdeal ?

Platform for the sale and purchase of Securities subscribed to on the Site, accessible on the Passbook.

When you decide to invest in crowdfunding, you are aware of it from the moment you invest: your savings become illiquid (there is no possibility to sell your securities before the end of the contract).

Liquidity, however, is a key element in any investment strategy. Being able to exit an investment at any time is a form of freedom that is unfortunately not offered in the participatory finance sector.

At Enerfip, freedom is a word that is on the tip of our tongues every day.

Freedom means choosing which projects we want to support.
Freedom means understanding and investing our money in the green energy technologies we believe in.
Freedom means analyzing and then investing in fundraising campaigns according to our risk appetite and the return on investment we want to achieve.

This buy-and-sell solution for securities required a full year of development. It is an exclusive service, offered free of charge to Enerfip investors. Concretely, it has one clear objective: to increase the liquidity of the securities you purchase on Enerfip.

The feature is still in beta, and several improvements will be rolled out in the coming months. Hundreds of you have already tested it in recent months—feel free to share your feedback on the feature.

Does Enerfip regulate the Enerdeal market?
Enerdeal is managed 100% by Enerfip teams.
Currently, the AMF (French Financial Markets Authority) requires that any seller or buyer be able to place any buy or sell offer.

To limit fraudulent listings, we have implemented alerts when the resale price of a security exceeds ±10% of its nominal value.

We therefore recommend investing on Enerdeal with the utmost vigilance to avoid making poor investment decisions.

How do I declare taxes on securities sold on Enerdeal?
Let’s assume you make a sale of €300 plus €6 in accrued interest. When filing your tax return, the procedure to declare the capital gain is as follows:

  1. In the IFU, box AN will be automatically pre-filled with the total amount of disposals (€300).
  2. An appendix to the IFU summarizes the disposals and indicates the capital gain of €6. You must then report this amount yourself in the section “Capital gains or losses on securities” (form no. 2042C).

When do I need to transfer the funds?
Once your offer has been accepted, you must top up your Enerfip account as soon as possible. Once your Enerfip account is funded, an automatic transfer will be made to the seller.
