The Climate Mural: Climate change in 15 minutes

As a second partner of Enerfip en roue libre 2022, we wanted to include an association with a strong educational focus and that is taking action for the climate. This is how we contacted La Fresque du Climat, which decided to support us by intervening in the very heart of the stall village, on Saturday, September 24, 2022. The association will organize a quiz fresco accessible to all.

The Fresque du Climat association was created in 2018 by Cédric Ringenbach. It works every day to raise awareness among individuals and organizations about climate issues, which it considers to be everyone's business.

To encourage businesses in their transition, particularly ecological transitions, the association organizes simple training courses accessible to all. The objective is to train as many facilitators as possible so that they can share their knowledge on these essential subjects on a large scale.

La Fresque du Climat thus puts its pedagogy to work on various environmental issues. It quickly disseminates its knowledge on the challenge of climate change, and it's a success! It already has more than 450,000 participants in its training courses thanks to its 20,000 volunteers. After only 3 years of existence, its impact is such that the association has become the reference tool for enabling individuals and organizations to take ownership of climate change.

Pedagogy at the heart of its training

The association wants to make its training as accessible as possible to all, so it focuses on a simple workshop. Today, several workshops exist to explore various important topics to maximize its impact on the environment. These include the digital fresco, the ocean fresco, and the low-cost fresco.

Through the "Climate Fresco" training, each participant is immersed in a workshop in which they are proactive players in understanding the issues related to climate change.

Lasting 3 hours, the activity allows everyone to learn and understand the origin of our greenhouse gases and their impact on global warming. The goal is to mobilize the collective intelligence of the group so that they can take ownership of the subject. The association ensures that everyone finds their place in this exercise and that they are made aware without being made to feel guilty.

It is also an opportunity to open the debate on existing and possible solutions during a positive and constructive discussion between group members.

It is through the Enerfip en roue libre 2022 event that we wish to offer participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in an awareness-raising activity on the subject of climate change. Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in the quiz fresco at our stand village on September 24, 2022 at the Réservoir.
